This new feature has been introduced to eliminate this problem. In this feature, any user can open four more profiles simultaneously in addition to his current profile.

Even if multiple of these profiles are linked to each other, no changes will be made within the profile. Facebook itself will not make any changes in these areas. Users who link multiple profiles can replace the display name with a name other than their real name.
